Tucked into gently-rolling hills and swampy streams and valleys, Simpson is a small and active agricultural community just outside of Greenville. Simpson is still comprised of a thriving agricultural economy that includes tobacco, corn, and soybean crops, and the nearby Tar River provides plenty of outdoor recreation.
